A Sankalpa and Yoga Nidra Workshop with Amanda Tripp

The yoga tradition offers a refreshing alternative to the New Year’s Resolution: Sankalpa (resolve). In this workshop, we’ll start with a journaling exercise to help you uncover your heart’s deepest desire, put it into words and create a sort of mission statement for your life. Once you have your sankalpa, you will nurture your resolve through the practice of yoga nidra (yogic sleep). Yoga Nidra is a conscious relaxation practice in which you enter a deeply relaxed, hypnagogic state and plant the seeds of your intention for your life.
Yoga Nidra opens you up to new ways of thinking, experiencing yourself and fulfilling your conscious intentions. Whether you want to try yoga nidra to help you let go of stress, or you want to create concrete positive changes in your life, this practice can help you reach your goals.
