In this training, you will:

Assess the concept of post-traumatic growth and how to foster it in students and your own life

Open to yoga teachers, therapists & practitioners, health and wellness professionals, educators & trauma survivors
Participants receive a certificate in Trauma Aware Yoga and 17 CE hours for Yoga Alliance/IAYT and other professional bodies
Learning takes place through educational lecture, experiential practices, small and large group discussion, and individual processing assignments. Participants receive a copy of the slides and Zoom recording following the weekend so that they can refer back over time.
About the presenter: Erin Byron, MA, RP, C-IAYT, ERYT-500 is a Registered Psychotherapist who has co/authored 6 books in the field of mental and physical health. She has been working in the field of trauma recovery for 30 years and is a founder of one of the first internationally-accredited yoga therapist trainings. Her popular book, Yoga for the Creative Soul, was named one of Aspire Magazine’s Top 10 Inspiring books while Yoga Therapy for Stress & Anxiety was #3 on Yoganonymous Soul Searchers Reading List.
