CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Yoga Level I: Hatha yoga based class where flowing postures married with breathwork offer a great stretch and deep relaxation.
Yoga Level II: Vinyasa style yoga class paced a little quicker than level one. Comfort with postures such as Downward Facing Dog would be suitable. A blend of Level I & II classes are recommended each week to maximize the benefits of the practice, even for the most experienced of yogis.
50+ Yoga : Specially designed practice for the mature body. Can be enjoyed seated in a chair or in other supported ways. Ease stiffness in the joints, increase muscle strength, build bone mass and enjoy relaxation.
Beginner Intro: An ideal opportunity to explore the foundations of yoga. Recommended before attending drop in classes or for experienced yogis wishing to enhance their grasp of the basics.
Power Hour: A faster paced asana practice requiring some familiarity with yoga postures and sequencing. Be prepared to sweat.
Pilates Mat : A beginner level pilates class offering an excellent complement to your yoga practice. Focus on strengthening and tightening through the core of the body.
Yoga I Back Care: Mindful and gentle yoga for back care. Appropriate for those with sciatica, sacro-illiac joint issues, tightness in low back and stiffness in hips. It is recommended that the participant be past the acute stage of their injury (2 - 3 weeks).
Core Fusion: A faster paced class blending pilates, yoga and strength training. Recommended for those in moderate to good physical condition.
Chakra Yoga & Meditation: An opportunity to explore the seven major chakras or energy centres in the body with gentle asana, breathwork, chanting & sound and meditation techniques.
Teen Goddess Yoga and Fitness: Specially designed practice for girls 11 - 17 years. Certified personal trainer and nutritional cookbook author, Laurie Sadowski, will skillfully challenge you physically while leading the way to your true goddess potential. Fun and encouraging for all fitness levels.
Zumba: Ditch the workout and join our party! This high energy Latin dance based fitness class builds a real sweat. Easy to master choreography and lots of laughing leave you uplifted and confident that you have achieved a good cardio workout. Burns 500 - 1000 calories per hour.

Classes printed in black are regular drop in classes. Registration is on going. No advance notice or registration is required. Your first trial class is complimentary. To continue classes, you may wish to purchase a ten class pass for $90 or pay a drop in fee each class of $12. The class pass is applicable to any drop in class and does not expire. For those who want to attend frequently, an unlimited monthly pass at $48 would be your best option. For those who would enjoy unlimited yoga and one of the specialty classes (like pilates or zumba), then the premium unlimited membership at $58 would be appropriate. This level of membership entitles you to unlimited yoga for the month, as well as a spot in the one of the pre-registered classes. Minimum purchase is 2 months.
Classes printed in purple* are pre-registered classes. They are in ten week sessions and they will start the week of January 18. Cost is 10 classes on your ten class pass or $95. Class size is limited to insure individual attention. Pre-payment is required to guarantee your spot. Unlimited yoga memberships can include a pre-registered, specialty class with the premium unlimited membership. Please see details above.
