Arlene Kerr, RYT 200
Graduate of the Burlington Yoga Centre's intensive and prestigious teacher training, Arlene is a certified Hatha yoga teacher with a thorough grounding in the principles of Iyengar style yoga. Arlene has further insight into the connection between mind and body through her work as a rehabilitation therapist for those who have experienced a traumatic brain injury. She has also completed mindfulness training with Jon Kabot Zin. Arlene is available for personal consultations upon request.
Cheryl Gordon, RYT 500, Certified Yoga Therapist
Cheryl keenly understands the necessity for balance and stress relief in today's busy lifestyles. Her classes offer a gentle flowing rhythm designed to release blocked energy and enhance flexibility/strength. Qualifications include:
- RYT 500 from Yoga Alliance (awarded through the Ananda Seva ashram in Santa Rosa, California after a month long residential program)
- ERYT 200 from Yoga Alliance (awarded through East to West Yoga in Toronto)
- Certified Yoga Therapist (member of the International Assn of Yoga Therapists)
- Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant (trained with Sarasvati Buhrman of the Rocky Mountain Institute)
- advanced teacher training in iRest (specialized yoga nidra) with Richard Miller
- Yoga for Cancer advanced teacher training with Jnani Chapman
- structural yoga therapy training with Mukunda Stiles
- Yoga for Cardiac training with Nischala Joy Devi

Debbie Earle, RRP
After spending decades in the corporate rat race, Debbie has redesigned her life and career to reflect her belief and committment to alternative/complementary therapies for wellness. Her certifications are from the Balnea Institute in Burlington and include reflexology, aromatherapy, lymphatic detox massage, indian head massage and nutritional coaching.
Deb Zahra
Upon finishing Deb's classes, one is amazed at the physical challenges that were met with aplomb. Deb's infectious energy and enthusiasm confidently assures her students that all is possible. Deb brings many years of yoga experience to her teaching, a blend of Iyengar, vinyasa and hatha styles.
Luisa Caruso, RYT 200
Gentle, spirited Luisa is a student at Brock and graduate of the prestigious Prana College of Yoga in BC. Luisa is heading back to the west coast soon for more training, but we are fortunate to enjoy her healing and nurturing style of classes now.
